BAD BOY BLASTERS REVIEW

Frosting the light has nothing to do with keeping your cabinet dirty...

Wiping emptying and cleaning a sandblasting cabinet daily seems excessive...

Oh shit, I just put myself in the immature category, didn't I?

Questions about oven floor

Well I can answer one thing for sure, when I went from an insulated oven floor to straight up concrete, my oven ramp up time increased a lot, which I expected.... No clue on what effects it has on the concrete but it doesn't seem like much.

Strip...Blast...Other options

Well dam....I ended up going with a local chemical that works great. Its a GREEN product, and is not to bad in price but lasts and works. In room temp it strips powder off within 15-20 min on a wheel. With OEM paint and other paint, it takes 1-2 hours. But, if heated to only 80-100 degrees it works...

Sherwin Williams Rocket white wtf?

Been out of the powder coating scene for a bit but I'm back with a pretty massive job. So I started the job with my standard mirror white then when it ran out I switched to Sherwin Williams "Rocket White" because it was in stock locally. The color looked close to what I was using on their powdura co...

Price Check

Kind of confused on the wording but I'd be at about 175ish for what's in the photo and about 285 for 4 sets of springs (8? springs) plus the other parts in the photo.

brake calipers

Are we confusing rotors with calipers? I don't see a caliper reaching 950 degrees without seals melting and brake fluid vaporizing. The coating would be the least of your issues at this point. Rotors on the other hand glow red from heat.

Little imperfection in aluminium

Your preparation looks, no offense, terrible to non existent. I can see what seems to be rust on the left of that hole of that wheel and its fresh out of the oven? That's not something you would want to charge for. If you aren't doing it right, it's probably best to not do it at all.

keep getting pits/bubbles

Degreasing after blasting seems a bit risky/pointless. Just saying.

Klean Strip Aircraft stripper

Hello guys, I'm pretty new to powdercoating (Have done a couple wheels and they have surprisingly came out very nice, much better than expected) and I wanted to know if using Klean-Strip to get rid of paint, cleaning with simple green/outgassing would be enough to begin powdercoating? I had a custo...
