Re: Proper application for wrinkle/vein powders?

From my experience, wrinkle and vein powders like to go into a hot oven and get to temp quickly for the best effect. It does seem that you put it on too thin though. Veins and wrinkles like to be put on heavy.

If you had an issue with your lines/air feed I would assume you would see issues on the initial coat. You need a ground rod deeper than 2-3 feet for it to be any good. I haven't been coatin...

I've never used it so I don't know how random the pattern will cure but APP has a Rust Leatherette that may work for you.

Re: Little imperfection in aluminium

Lollipop red is a translucent powder if I remember correctly, what did you use for the base coat underneath it? It almost looks like under cured chrome powder beneath the lollipop red that sagged when curing the top coat.

Re: keep getting pits/bubbles

You could be bringing contaminates back out by the additional bake cycle you are doing after all your prep. If you are going to outgas/burn off, do it before your blast and not again afterwards. Also, for the outgassing you just need to do it until the part stops smoking. 5 hours is a long time in t...
